Prosthetist/Orthotist

Brittany is a board-certified prosthetist and orthotist through the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC). Originally from Bend, Oregon, she moved to Idaho in 2008 to attend Boise State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. She later completed her Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center before returning to Idaho to build her career and raise a family with her husband.

Since joining APO in 2019, Brittany has served as Clinical Manager and brings more than 13 years of experience in prosthetic and orthotic care. She specializes in advanced and complex lower-extremity amputee rehabilitation, with a strong focus on biomechanics, gait analysis, and optimizing functional outcomes collaborating closely with Physical Therapists. Known for her patient-centered approach, Brittany is passionate about helping individuals build confidence, regain independence, and achieve goals they may have once thought impossible.

Brittany has earned a reputation for helping amputees return to high levels of activity, including running, hunting, fishing, rowing, cycling, horseback riding, rock climbing, and swimming. She is particularly passionate about adaptive recreation and works closely with the Challenged Athletes Foundation to help patients access specialized prostheses and opportunities that expand their potential beyond everyday mobility.

Outside the clinic, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter on their farm. An avid equestrian, hunter/jumper trainer, and lifelong horse enthusiast, she can often be found riding, training, or caring for horses when she is not serving her patients. Her commitment to performance, resilience, and personal growth extends beyond her profession and reflects the same values she strives to instill in every patient she serves.

Hailey Brown, C.P.O.

Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

Hailey Brown is a Clinician Certified by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of Prosthetics & Orthotics with a subspecialty in Pediatric Orthotic care. Hailey grew up in Boise, Idaho where she attended Boise State University before completing her Prosthetics and Orthotics education at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2006. Hailey fulfilled her Orthotics and Prosthetics Residencies in 2008/2009 in Austin, TX. She was a guest lecturer at Texas State University in San Marcos for the Physical Therapy Department on the topic of pediatric orthotics. She worked closely with the physicians at Central Texas Pediatric Orthopedics at Dell Children's Hospital where she specialized in providing devices for pediatric congenital conditions as well as traumatic injuries. Hailey takes pride in seeking the right device solution for the specific individual and strives to foster constructive and compassionate communication with the people she serves. After many years in Texas, she returned home to Idaho where she joined the team at Advanced Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2024. Here she discovered that aside from treating children, she greatly enjoys addressing the orthotic needs of the local adult population. In her free time, Hailey enjoys adventures with her husband and two young kids. She is insatiably curious about nature, an avid reader and a moderately successful fruit and vegetable gardener.

Jaime Purdie, C.P.O.

Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

Jaime is a Clinician Certified by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics. She earned her Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University before completing her Orthotics Residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Seattle, Washington and her Prosthetics Residency here at Advanced Prosthetics & Orthotics. Originally from Minnesota, she studied Biology and Exercise Science during her undergraduate education, where she developed a strong passion for human movement, rehabilitation, and patient-centered care. Jaime’s clinical interests focus on amputee care and neuro orthotic management, where she enjoys helping patients improve mobility, function, and independence through individualized care. She values a collaborative approach and works closely with physicians and therapists to help patients achieve their goals and maximize outcomes. Jaime is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and creating solutions that support both everyday function and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Jaime enjoys staying active through trail running, hiking in the foothills with her dog, paddleboarding, and spending time outdoors whenever possible.

Julian Bagnas

Resident Prosthetist/Orthotist

Julian earned a Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Eastern Michigan University. He is currently completing a combined residency in both prosthetics and orthotics at Advanced Prosthetics & Orthotics, LLC. While he provides care for all patients, he has a passion for pediatric patients. His passion for pediatric care began while working with an after-school program during graduate school, and he hopes to primarily specialize in pediatrics with APO after completing his residency. Born and raised in Colorado, Julian also earned his undergraduate degree in Biology there. In his free time, he enjoys hiking the foothills with his dog, running marathons for fun, and relaxing with the occasional beverage after a long day exploring the mountains.

Certified Orthotist, Board-Eligible Prosthetist

Zach is a board-certified orthotist and board-eligible prosthetist through the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC). Originally from Dallas, Georgia, he attended Kennesaw State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering and Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics.

Zach is a dedicated professional with a strong interest in advancing patient care through innovation and technology. His work supports individuals with a wide range of limb differences, amputations, and injuries across all presentation types, with a particular focus on upper extremity prosthetics and orthotics. He is especially passionate about improving functional outcomes and quality of life through thoughtful, patient-centered care.

Zach also brings a forward-thinking approach through his involvement in 3D printing, leveraging emerging technologies to support customized, efficient, and patient-centered solutions. By combining technical skill with a commitment to continuous learning, he contributes to the development of modern, adaptable care strategies.

Outside of his professional work, Zach enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with his wife and their large goldendoodle, as well as engaging in personal crafts that reflect his creativity and hands-on skillset. These interests complement his professional mindset, reinforcing both his attention to detail and his passion for building and creating.
